Mount Scuderi stands at the height of 1,253 meters. It has a flat summit that forms a great natural terrace from where you can admire a fantastic panorama: to the North, the far Tyrrhenian Sea, and to the East the Ionian Sea.
Mount Scuderi is a magical place, full of mystery and legends. One of these legends is the “truvatura”, i.e. hidden treasures often located in inaccessible areas and guarded by fantastic creatures such as dragons, snakes and dwarves.
Starting from the base, we begin our journey on a paved road that will take us from the village of Paradiso to the junction of Pezzolo: from there we start riding up the mountain for a few kilometers. We get to the famous “serpentone” of Pezzolo where the route turns into a steep dirt patch surrounded by forests offering pure air until we arrive to the summit of Mount Scuderi. All along the road you can enjoy breath-taking view that will make you forget all the efforts made!
After a well-deserved break and some pictures, we go down the same path until we get to the starting point.
